Different ways to support the unhoused population

As we highlight different ways to support the unhoused population, we would like to mention Bread and Beyond . They serve up to 10 Montreal-area shelters with up to 3,000 sandwiches per week! They also supply shelters with “essentials boxes” to assist people moving out of homelessness, which you can find out more about here:

They were a vital help during the pandemic and continue to be so today. You can support them by volunteering to make sandwiches in the comfort of your own kitchen, by meeting up with them on Wednesday mornings in NDG, or of course with a financial contribution.
